Another black eye for Malaysia - by @lbert
  Posted:30/11/2005 - 10:18 - in category: politics Malaysia
Datuk Nor Omar had the guts to say outside parliament:
If foreigners think that Malaysia police are brutal, please go back to their own countries and not to stay here. Meanwhile, our immigration department does not need to waste time in clamping down on foreigners."
Another biggie to promote tourism to Malaysia.
Well done Nor Omar! You showed you got brains.
When is this cabinet of idiots going to be reshuffled Pak Lah? It is really needed Malaysia is turning into some funny, unreliable country in the eyes of foreigners.

Kill the messenger - by @lbert
  Posted:28/11/2005 - 14:17 - in category: politics Malaysia
Thats standard procedure in Malaysia.
If corruption is reported you go after the messenger not the culprit, and convict him.
Musa Hassan, the country's No. 2 in the police force said :
"it is the perpetrator behind the video clip whom we are after and not the policewoman, who was carrying out a routine check"
This is the number 2 in the police force!!
This idiot should be sacked on the spot, he is another black eye for the police force.
Or is everything going under the carpet again?
Well it really was the best thing ever to promote tourism to Malaysia, a job well done!

PM as postpigeon - by @lbert
  Posted:25/11/2005 - 10:32 - in category: politics Malaysia
Lately you see Malaysia's PM run from one conference abroad to the next one.
More than half of these conferences have absolutely no meaning, they talk a lot, but the result is zip.
Think its more usefull when the PM spents more time at home where things keep on detoriating by the day, and those need urgent attention! Come on Pak Lah show some action instead of comments only.

20-second MMS creates unprecedented stir among Ministers and MPs - by @lbert
  Posted:24/11/2005 - 22:41 - in category: general
A 20-second MMS creates unprecedented stir among Ministers and MPs, well it SHOULD.
This is more than scandalous!
Stripping chinese woman in a police lockup, and behave as if its Iraq.
The head of police and the minister should on the spot resign, no further questions asked.
The police woman on the MMS should be imprisonned for years. So should all acomplishes.
For the malaysian people: you better change your motto: "Proud to be Malaysian" into "Ashamed to be Malaysian"
Shame on you Malaysia!

Why we get rubish? - by @lbert
  Posted:24/11/2005 - 12:24 - in category: general
I am surprised that already for quite some sime i cannot buy proper onions and potatoes.
The onions are all worse than B grade where ever you go, some are even rotten.
Than potatoes, we used to be ables to get nice Indonesian potatoes, but nowadays all you can get is shit from China, or potatoes from Australia at RM 4.00+ a kilo which is ridiculous.
Where is all the good stuff going, or is it good enough to feed Malaysians B grade or worse?
Than tomatoes they are the most expensive in the whole region. Crazy.
In indonesia 1 kilo of tomatoes is less than 1 ringgit!! And thailand is RM 2.00-2.50 but Malaysia is RM 3.50-4.00 outragious.
I think it is high time that the middle man get kicked out, the farmers get nothing, but the middleman in malaysia makes a fortune.

Illegal foreign workers - by @lbert
  Posted:23/11/2005 - 19:02 - in category: general
I find it really sick (in capital) that every time illegal foreign workers get arrested, and in the news all the punishment they face, but the employers go scott free!
This is a scandal, these foreigners merely want to earn a living for their families abroad.
If the goverment wants to end this, than finally start fining (or imprisoning) the employer.
A fine of 50.000 per illegal worker will be deterrend enough, but ENFORCE it!
One or 2 bankrubt employers will probably do....everybody will be to scared to hire an illegal. Now they just give a damn, their workers got arrested, well tomorrow hire others..... Malaysia boleh!

 Azahari (2) - by @lbert
  Posted:17/11/2005 - 15:07 - in category: general
Picked from the news:
Family members will pray to Allah to ask for forgiveness so that 'demolition man' Azahari Husin can go to heaven.

Well may i say i hope this mass murderer rots in hell forever....

 Azahari - by @lbert
  Posted:14/11/2005 - 12:53 - in category: general
I took these lines from the Jakarta Post
Malaysia's Islamic opposition party on Sunday asked Indonesia to provide evidence that terror suspect Azahari bin Hussein was the mastermind of several terrorist attacks in that country.

Abdul Hadi Awang, president of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), said his party was against all acts of terrorism but not fully convinced that Azahari -- shot dead by Indonesian police last week -- had masterminded the attacks.

"I fear that the allegations against Azahari could be like the allegations made against Iraq (possessing weapons of mass destruction)," Abdul Hadi told reporters.

"Until today, there is no proof (of Azahari's involvement). We want a fair investigation into the allegations," he said.

Seems PAS has really gone nuts. Wait a while and they will turn him into a martyr.
Mind you they found 30+ bombs in the house of Azahari.
Than the family of Azahari went to Jakarta to claim the body of this mass murderer.
Well if it was my family member, i would say feed him to the sharks!
Than they say they want to burry him next to the mother.
Unbelievable, the mother probably would turn around in her grave!
Is all the above Asian Value?

Compassion and asian values. - by @lbert
  Posted:10/11/2005 - 15:20 - in category: general
Unfortunately i was forced to spend Deepavali and Raya in the hospital.
Well i must say after seeing things from inside a sickbed, a really can tell that i wipe my ass with the so called asian values.
There are none, only greed.
As wel on deepavali as raya, i have not seen any person from a nearby kuil, or mosque to show some compassion with the sick.
None nothing zip.........
The christian minority is doin 100 times better during christmas by going to hospitals and old folks homes to cheer them up, bring a piece of christmas bread or whatever, without any religious intention.
Noone can go to the sick say on raysa, offer them a piece of ketupat and serunding or whatever. Well it seems the hindus and islam people really have something to learn from their christian friends.
Than on values... people go to visit a friend or whatever in the hospital, nicely join with 15 or people around 1 bed, and play kopi tiam.
If you are laying next to this pandemonium and ask them to get lost, they stare at you as if you are from another world!
Than on top of that my handphone was stolen in the hospital while i was sleeping 20 cm away from it, and the phone was not visible.
Asian values....my ass, they dont exist!
