The sultan of Perak said:
Educating the young separately according to their ethnic and religious background is extremely unsuitable for a multicultural Malaysia, Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah said. Stressing the need for an education policy to unite all races, Sultan Azlan Shah said young Malaysians should understand and respect each other during their formative years. This confirms what i said over and over, out in this country with the silly mother tongue education. It is the start of segregation, and brings no integration at all. What is needed are high quality government schools, without religion linked to it. Religeous classes after the school curiculum! Also out with stupid things like moral education and Islamic knowledge. Islamic knowledge should be replaced with general religious knowledge. Afterall at present the everage schoolkid in Malaysia does no even know what Christmas stands for, go figure...
So Krishamudin lots of work for you to do. And probably all chinese parties will start screaming and kicking. Well let them, integration goes way above any party goal, its the nation's future. Live or die! Like the sultan said:
As Malaysians who tread the same earth and breathe the same air, it is important for each citizen to be nurtured and shaped by the same education system. National interest should be given precedence over the interests of a particular group. |
