Malaysia has seen the same government for 50 years. Should this change?

Need a lot stronger opposition.
Let's keep it like it is.
Time for the opposition to rule.
I give a shit about politics.

 Negara kaya...spent spent spent - by @lbert
  Posted:25/10/2007 - 08:58 - in category: politics Malaysia
Look at this list where your money will go or already went....

1. Johor Crooked Bridge compensation RM 292 million.
2. Broga cancellation claim of RM 500 million filed.
3. Angkasawan RM 80 million.
4. Sumarines (3 of them) 1.035 billion Euro (RM 4.8 billion)
Including a ridiculous amount of commission to be paid.
5. Missile system ordered in April 364 million US (RM 1.1 billion)
6. 60 tanks from Poland (PT-91 Twardy tanks) 300 million US.(RM 990 million)
7. 40 More russian Sukoi fighters at US 1.6 billion (RM 5.28 billion)

This all adds up to to around RM 8.24 billion spent in a few years, of course payment spread over several years.

And dont forget the patrol boats build by the PSC-Naval Dockyard. The original cost of RM5.35 billion has now ballooned to RM6.75 billion.

Question: Does a developing nation need all this instead of development?
(Do not include Selangor which is an undeveloped 'developed' state).
Add this to the billions of debts left by Mahathirs administration, like Perwaja, Proton and many more.

Not yet incorporated are the losses of non feasible projects like the Northern corridor pipeline and others.

I only can say go figure......
