Extreme demand for milk powder is driving the prices further up.
Friesland Foods the biggest cooperation in the Netherlands raised the advance price for milk by 1,28 Euro per 100 kg with immediate effect.
Prices of milk powder have doubled in the past year due to Asian demand for milk powder.
So expect the milk powder in Malaysia to reach RM 20- a kilo soon. Prices will change as soon as contracts run out.
The raising has already started.
